How To Sell At Auction

  • Our consultants are available at any time during our normal business hours to provide a free, no-obligation auction appraisal of your vehicle.
  • When you choose to go to auction there is no booking in fee. The booking in process, including setting a reserve, takes approx. 5-10 minutes.
  • The vendor must declare at the time of booking in, any information relevant to the sale of the vehicle e.g. mechanical condition, ownership history, financial securities etc., and whether or not the vendor is “in trade”.
  • The vehicle will be entered for the next available auction, to be sold at or above the agreed reserve price. If a vehicle is passed in, it may be sold otherwise after auction at or above the reserve. At the consultant’s discretion any offer may be presented to the vendor.
  • You only pay for results. Our ‘no sale, no charge’ policy ensures there is no booking fee and no auction fee. Commission is deducted from the proceeds of sale at $225 + 5% of sale price (+ gst). A $55 (+gst) admin. Fee also applies post-sale.
  • You do not need to be present when your vehicle is put up for auction. We do require your contact details so that we can contact you if necessary during the sale process.
  • We take care of advertising and promotion, on-line and on-site enquiries, inspections, qualified test driving, as well as post-sale compliance such as change of ownership and settlement of securities.

You are free to view and test drive the vehicles during these hours, and also obtain a free auction appraisal on your vehicle.
